Gregory Downs Organics   Certified Organic, Beef and Pork, Gregory Downs Organics is family owned and run farm by Clint and Pip Smith. Situated on approximately 1000acres of land north of Young in the Hilltops region of the South West slopes. They run a small herd of Hereford, Black Baldy cows and Angus bulls as well as Organic Pigs. Gregory Downs Organic focus on the health and welfare of their animals and on the regeneration of our land – on increasing biodiversity of native plants and animals on our farm and in our soil.

Burrawong Gaian Poultry   Burrawong Gaian pride themselves on sustainable farming practices, raising premium pasture-reared chickens and ducks. The 6800-acre property has been in the Carter family for four generations and for Matt and Mel its all about family – the future for their children: A clean sustainable, healthy farm producing what they want to eat – clean, sustainable, healthy food.  For the last eighteen years, Matt and Mel have focused on regenerating the land and applying good natural resource management principles with the operation focused on organic beef and lamb production. They have been running chemical free since 2006 and have been fully certified organic since 2011 with Australian Certified Organic.

Charlie Arnott - Hanaminno   Shorthorn cattle are ‘The Breed that Built Australia’, and the Arnott family have operated a core breeding mob since 1958. Shorthorns are the most versatile and reliable breed in the country. This makes them the perfect animal to produce consistently high quality beef. They are fantastic mothers, superior producers of milk, with wonderful temperaments, and tremendous meat marbling characteristics. Charlie Arnott award winning lamb is produced using Merino ewes and Dorset rams, a well known ‘fat lamb’ cross breed, and one that we have been using for 40+ years, whilst proudly utilising local Gooramma Stud Dorset rams.

Melanda Park Free Range Pork   A marriage of breeds all come together to produce a pig that is well suited to the free range environment yet at the same time producing exceptional pork for today's market. All Melanda Park pigs are born, raised and kept their entire lives out doors in the free range environment, where they are free to exhibit natural behaviour's like rooting, wallowing and interacting with other pigs. They are pasture raised, meaning they have access to pasture 365 days a year and opportunity to indulge in the finer flavours of life like organic potatoes and grubs they dig up.

Rotational management is used whereby the hens are given a different quarter acre every few days so their food is always fresh and plentiful and the pastures regenerate.  At night, the hens are housed in pristine, protected huts where they can roost on their perches and the manure drops through to fertilise the soil. The soil is rested to allow for pasture improvement year on year.
